Hello to my regulars and welcome to those who are stopping by as part of the Boo Crew Hop-lloween! If you're following the hop, you should have gotten here from Von Marie. At the end of this post, I'll link to the next stop!
I'm so fortunate to have been invited to join my fellow crafty friends in preparing for one of the best holidays of the year: Halloween! But because I've been completely overwhelmed lately, I wanted to go simple. This works out great for you because if you like this idea, you can recreate this easily!
Ok, seriously, these are so simple! All you need is a 1” circle punch and the cardstocks of your choice! Punch out as many circles as you can fit on the front of the card (I went for a 9 grid on each one). Next, center a face stamp on each circle. For the ghosts, I used “Booyah” by Lawn Fawn. For the pumpkins, I used Mix and Match Pumpkins by Hero Arts. Then simply glue them down and add a sentiment underneath!
Heck, if you don't have face stamps, you could draw faces on the circles!
I always like to add one cool trick to my posts and this one is for the sentiment on the pumpkin card. I have an older Fiskars corner punch that makes 3 kinds of decorative corners. I was able to just stick each end of the orange rectangle into the punch and punch it down. The part where the design joins the rectangle wasn't the smoothest, but a little scissors work sorted that right out!
I decided to add a couple of matte black sequins for some finishing zing. Huzzah!
Thanks for stopping by today! I don't want you to miss all the amazing work on the hop, so be sure to head to Marie next! And just in case you're completely lost, I've included the complete hop below!
