I long ago discovered that I have a huge love for creating cellphone wallpapers. It's a low risk way to learn and practice new Photoshop skills. I thought it would be a lot of fun to create a set of three in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day!
I wanted to create wallpapers that could stay on the phone past March 17, so I approached this project accordingly. There was no way I could resist the chance to use this map of Ireland (heavily antiqued in Photoshop) and the postmark. Everything about it made me so happy! Of course a Celtic knot was an easy choice next. Then finally I couldn't resist painting it gold and putting it on a green background that I marbled and distressed in Photoshop with a couple of texture overlays.
These are really simple to install on your device. Just open this page on your mobile, find the one you like and click on it. You will then be able to save it as a picture. Then just go to your phone's settings and choose it as your wallpaper!
Let me know in the comments which one you choose. I'd love to know which one is the most popular!
