As much as we try to resist it, the New Year is such a great time to press a mental reset button and set intentions of how we want to be. One I commonly hear (and embrace myself) is learning a new skill. But you know what else I've learned? Sometimes you're not sure what that new skill should be.
Allow me to suggest watercolor. It's not prohibitively expensive to start with. Heck, you might even have your elementary watercolor set still lurking somewhere in your house. I certainly do. A pad of watercolor paper from the craft store is reasonable. And overall, watercolor just feels freeing when you start out!
