When I looked down at the pile of scraps left behind, they looked something like this:
Are you kidding me? This is perfection! This is adorable! This is meant to be its own wee garland of awesomeness! Those diagonal lines! That white space! That pink and white baker's twine in a jar above my head! Genius! Get me the MacArthur Grant Foundation!
All you really need for this project is the scraps left over from making a bigger garland, some baker's twine or ribbon, and some hot glue. That makes putting this garland together a lot quicker! Just lay the triangles out:
And glue the string down by either putting lines of glue on several flags at one time and then laying the string down in the glue:
OR laying the string on top of the triangles and then putting dots of glue over the string near the points (my preferred method):
Let the glue dry and then get to my favorite part: hanging it up!
